JSON messages

The messages that are published to the broker should be JSON type. There are three types of messages which can be decoded by APIS:

• VQT messages : This type of message can be used to update or create value items.
• Meta messages : This type of message can be used to update the attributes of an existing value item.
• Event messages : This type of message can be used to write any events or alarms to any existing tag in APIS.
• Historical messages : This type of message can be used to write historical data for a value item directly to honeystore.
